Principal – Wholesale Roaming, Billing, Settlement & Standards

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold precise CDR, mediation, TAP/RAP/BCE, and reconciliation workflows for all pertinent TADIG × PLMN × DCH/FCH combinations.

• Establish routing and control protocols to ensure data usage accurately reaches the designated clearing partner and settlement entity without any leakage or duplication.

• Oversee the daily reconciliation process, manage control totals, handle disputes, conduct root-cause analysis, and prepare executive reports.

• Develop and organize NTN wholesale pricing structures, encompassing activation, usage, and tiering frameworks aligned with feasible billing methods.

• Manage the technical execution strategy for DCH/FCH partners, including clearing setups, NRTRDE controls, and ongoing service performance assessments.

• Represent Skylo in active GSMA working groups, such as WSOLU, IDSBCE, BCE, and NRG NTN.

• Collaborate with Finance, Product, BSS, Network, Legal, and Sales teams to translate commercial intents into actionable and auditable settlement processes.

• Take ownership of settlement architecture, wholesale pricing structures, clearing strategies, and external standards work for NTN roaming at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of direct experience in wholesale roaming billing, network settlement, clearing, revenue assurance, or telecommunications standards.

• Advanced technical understanding of TAP3, RAP, BCE, CDR/mediation flows, DCH/FCH operations, and dispute management processes.

• In-depth knowledge of PLMN, TADIG, IMSI network numbering, roaming identities, and their immediate effects on routing and settlement.

• Demonstrated experience in developing wholesale pricing or financial models and translating them into operational billing controls.

• Strong professional credibility representing an operator or technology provider within GSMA or similar standards organizations.

• Excellent cross-functional coordination abilities with a talent for creating functional mechanisms in situations where industry standards are lacking.

• Direct experience with NTN, NB-IoT, IoT roaming, NRTRDE, or multi-TADIG and multi-PLMN architectures.

• Familiarity with major clearing platforms, GSMA portals, BigQuery/SQL, Jira, and Confluence.

• Previous experience in negotiating clearing relationships or influencing global industry specifications.
