
Principal Test Engineer – Agentic AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create AI agents that facilitate both manual and automated testing to enable swift code change deliveries.
• Promote the adoption of agent-driven practices for manual and automated testing.
• Define and uphold the enterprise testing strategy encompassing unit, integration, API, UI, regression, exploratory, performance, and risk-based testing.
• Take ownership of and enhance the UI automation framework continuously.
• Spearhead the technical strategy for performance and load testing.
• Align the testing strategy with the system architecture, business risks, and technical dependencies.
• Establish and refine testing standards, engineering best practices, and quality guardrails.
• Offer hands-on technical leadership in test design, framework enhancements, troubleshooting, and automation challenges.
• Guide quality team members in unit and integration testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams, and stakeholders on the quality strategy.
• Assess and recommend testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Review test coverage, quality risks, and validation methods, providing recommendations to stakeholders.
• Encourage continuous improvement while adhering to standards and policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in quality assurance, software engineering, or a related field.
• Strong emphasis on automated and manual testing strategies in high-volume settings.
• Demonstrated success with AI-assisted and agent-driven testing methodologies.
• Experience in developing and implementing enterprise test strategies across unit, integration, API, UI, regression, exploratory, performance, and risk-based testing.
• Proficiency with TestNG, JUnit, Selenium, API testing tools, and associated quality technologies.
• Experience conducting performance and load testing.
• Strong comprehension of system architecture, integrations, and technical dependencies.
• Capability to establish testing standards, best practices, and quality guardrails.
• Experience mentoring engineers in unit and integration testing.
• Hands-on technical leadership in test design, framework strategy, troubleshooting, and automation enhancements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development practices.
• Preferred: experience in SaaS, cloud, or distributed application environments.
• Preferred: proficiency in Java, Python, XML, or similar test automation technologies.
• Preferred: understanding of object-oriented programming and automation framework design.
• Preferred: experience in evaluating and implementing testing tools, frameworks, and practices.
• Preferred: knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and quality governance.
