Principal Technology Business Management Analyst

📋 Description

• Oversee the enterprise TBM and IT Financial Management strategy, governance framework, and operational model.

• Create methodologies for cost transparency, accountability in investments, service costing, benchmarking, and value realization.

• Implement practices for funding, budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, cost management, chargeback, and showback.

• Direct governance processes for enterprise technology and transformation investments.

• Establish standards, decision criteria, and accountability frameworks for assessing, prioritizing, and tracking investments.

• Facilitate executive governance forums that support strategic investment and portfolio choices.

• Manage benefits realization and value management initiatives.

• Measure and confirm cost savings, cost avoidance, productivity enhancements, capacity building, revenue growth, and strategic value.

• Develop executive scorecards, metrics, and dashboards to assess investment performance and benefits realization.

• Supervise technology and transformation investment portfolios, focusing on performance, financial health, risk, strategic alignment, and value realization.

• Assist in annual planning, strategic investment decisions, capital allocation, and long-term financial planning.

• Lead financial management efforts for AI, cloud, digital, product, and transformation portfolios.

• Establish financial management for AI, including consumption forecasting, token management, AI ROI, and chargeback governance.

• Promote Cloud FinOps, cloud optimization, consumption governance, and cost transparency.

• Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights on investments.

• Counsel senior executives, governance councils, and steering committees regarding investment decisions and portfolio performance.

• Collaborate with leaders in Finance, Technology Solutions, Digital, Data & Analytics, Innovation, Operations, and Value Engineering.

• Guide and influence cross-functional teams while promoting accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and outcome-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, healthcare administration, information systems, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of ten years of progressive experience in Technology Business Management, financial management, strategic planning, transformation leadership, portfolio management, consulting, or a related field.

• Proven experience in leading enterprise governance, investment management, portfolio oversight, or value realization programs.

• Demonstrated success in developing business cases, return on investment methodologies, benefits realization frameworks, and executive reporting.

• Experience collaborating directly with executive leadership on strategic investment and prioritization decisions.

• Strong understanding of technology cost structures, cloud economics, digital and AI investments, product funding models, and financial planning processes.

• Experience in creating executive dashboards, performance metrics, and portfolio reporting.

• Proven leadership, consulting, communication, and organizational skills.

• Preferred experience in the Healthcare industry.

• Experience supporting Digital, Data & Analytics, AI, Innovation, Technology Solutions, or enterprise transformation portfolios is a plus.

• Strongly desired experience with Apptio, Power BI, ServiceNow, or other comparable portfolio and financial management platforms.
