This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop, organize, and enhance both domestic and international tourism offerings, including itineraries, tours, accommodations, and unique experiences.
• Conduct research on market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for new products and destinations.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, allotments, commercial terms, and cancellation policies with hotels, destination management companies, airlines, car rental services, and other suppliers.
• Foster and strengthen strategic alliances with suppliers and partners within the tourism industry.
• Analyze pricing, reputation, quality, and competitiveness of products and partners.
• Prepare feasibility studies, reports, and commercial analyses to inform strategic decision-making.
• Monitor performance indicators such as occupancy rates, revenue, margin, profitability, and conversion metrics.
• Analyze and oversee contracts, commercial agreements, and termination arrangements, ensuring proper adherence to negotiated terms.
• Manage accommodation inventory, allotments, blocks, and availability while monitoring information in the Infotera system.
• Build and nurture relationships with commercial partners, mediating conflicts and disagreements as necessary.
• Conduct site inspections, business trips, trade shows, events, and business meetings, representing the company while evaluating destinations and suppliers.
• Prepare travel itineraries for groups, packages, and familiarization trips (FAM trips).
• Follow up on partner requests and unresolved issues, providing support to the tour operator concerning supplier-related matters.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, Commercial Management, International Relations, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly for preparing spreadsheets, reports, and administrative controls.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to build interpersonal relationships.
• Negotiation and persuasion skills to arrive at agreements and resolve conflicts.
• Understanding of the hotel and tourism sectors, including rates, availability, trends, and industry dynamics.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing documents, contracts, and information.
• Analytical abilities and strategic thinking for interpreting scenarios, indicators, and opportunities.
• Familiarity with travel planning, itineraries, and tourism logistics.
• Time management skills with the capability to prioritize both strategic and operational demands.
• Conflict-resolution skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with partners effectively.
• Flexibility and proactivity in managing dynamic demands.
• Knowledge of the Omnibees system is advantageous.
• Operational knowledge of airline systems for analysis and negotiations.
