This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Serve as the leading authority on the DoiT Partner Platform, acting as a pioneer among peers to drive alignment across various product teams and establish standards for product excellence.

• Take ownership of the comprehensive strategy, delivery, iteration, and learning velocity for significant platform components.

• Collaborate with VP-level leadership to outline strategic direction, translating it into clear challenges and actionable scope.

• Guide and mentor other Technical Product Owners to enhance product management practices, ensuring cohesive execution throughout the platform portfolio.

• Facilitate the feedback loop across teams: discover → define → build → release → measure → iterate, continuously.

• Evaluate technical designs, analyze complex trade-offs and constraints, and comprehend their impact on delivery timelines and system behavior, without being the primary implementer.

• Utilize your practical experience in the cloud ecosystem and insight into channel, reseller, and partner business models.

• Foster a deep understanding of cloud partners' workflows: billing operations, margin management, reseller customer management, support operations, and service delivery.

• Employ direct partner interactions and operational insights to pinpoint friction, identify gaps, and uncover strategic opportunities to enhance partner management of their cloud businesses.

• Possess a strong understanding of cloud billing constructs, marketplace programs, margin models, and partner incentives across hyperscalers.

• Contribute to the development of intricate platform capabilities that manage or simplify complexities in areas such as:

• Multi-cloud billing aggregation.

• Partner margin and discount models.

• Customer invoicing and revenue operations.

• Usage and cost transparency.

• Marketplace and private offer workflows.

• Regularly engage key partners (targeting 3–5 conversations weekly) and internal stakeholders to validate concepts, refine workflows, and test assumptions.

• Deeply engage with executive stakeholders at cloud partners, MSPs, SIs, and resellers to gain insights into their cloud business operations.

• Communicate with clarity and confidence: share concepts early, welcome feedback, synthesize input into strategic decisions, and explain 'why' in a way that fosters trust and consensus among peers and leadership.

• Act as a core leader closely collaborating with Engineering leaders—actively participating in daily engagements, making decisive choices, and being pragmatic about constraints.

• Collaborate with Engineering leads on sequencing, technical trade-offs, and delivery planning—ensuring that product intent is preserved through implementation realities.

• Guarantee coherence of components across UX, APIs, data, and operational behavior, supporting partner-grade reliability and scalability.

• Define success metrics for the platform portfolio (partner adoption, onboarding speed, billing accuracy, workflow completion, retention, reliability signals, partner-reported impact).

• Instrument learning: ensure that releases are measurable and that insights are reliably funneled back into portfolio prioritization.

• Ensure that platform capabilities address the operational realities of the cloud partner ecosystem, including billing accuracy, financial reconciliation, and auditability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive product leadership experience with over 10 years in the cloud ecosystem, ideally across roles such as cloud operations, FinOps, partner operations, or developing platforms that serve cloud customers or partners.

• Proven track record of functioning as a 'player-coach'—leading high-level strategy, executing tasks alongside engineering, and guiding/mentoring other product owners as a respected peer leader.

• Strong experience with cloud billing systems, cost and usage data, or revenue operations in cloud environments.

• Deep knowledge of the cloud partner ecosystem (resellers, MSPs, SIs, distributors, marketplaces). Candidates have likely engaged within the partner ecosystem at some point in their careers.

• Experience in building or managing platforms that cater to channel or partner-driven business models.

• Strong product intuition for transforming complex operational issues into clear scope and delivered value with an exceptional user experience.

• Technical proficiency in cloud fundamentals and APIs across AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure.

• Coding experience is advantageous—sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineers, assess feasibility, and understand system behaviors.

• Must have demonstrable experience leveraging AI to expedite product specifications and development.

• Exceptional communication skills: ability to engage deeply with partners, cloud experts, and internal stakeholders at the executive level.

• A proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement: you deliver, measure, learn, and iterate.
