Principal Strategy Sourcing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Generate value across an extensive portfolio of approximately $250M in IT Services expenditures.

• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

• Assist in developing sourcing strategies that foster sustainable competitive advantages.

• Oversee preferred suppliers, including tracking and reporting on spend, monitoring performance, and facilitating the purchasing process.

• Support IT purchasing, supplier relationship management, and strategic supplier initiatives with IT Services partners in collaboration with the IT Vendor Management Office.

• Achieve annual value improvement goals related to service, innovation, and cost.

• Lead and assist with RF(x) events to enhance competition and maximize value.

• Lead and aid in strategic contract negotiations for large-scale projects.

• Engage and persuade stakeholders to embrace category strategies within a highly matrixed organization.

• Collaborate with IT, Legal, and other key stakeholder groups.

• Propose business solutions and identify potential areas for improvement; present ideas to leadership.

• Advise stakeholders on contract risks and liabilities while advocating for their interests.

• Collect market intelligence and industry trends; utilize benchmarking to support and rationalize deal terms.

• Educate and train stakeholders on indirect supply management initiatives and policies.

• Collaborate with a team of experienced and motivated colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Management, Procurement, Category Management, Finance, IT / Shared Services, or related analytical and commercial roles.

• Ability to partner with and influence senior leadership effectively.

• Proven leadership, customer service, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, judgment, and organizational skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong program management capabilities.

• Experience in influencing and leading internal teams and external suppliers to achieve results.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously.

• Proficient at managing and influencing stakeholders.

• Experience in indirect sourcing, including IT Services, Professional Services, Financial Services, or Legal Services.

• Experience working in a large global organization.

• Experience in reviewing and drafting legal agreements.
