Hydro Lead Specialist – Contract Management OTR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Venezuela.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of contractual and commercial strategies to guarantee successful project execution

• Act as a reliable advisor to project leadership regarding contracts, risks, prospects, and commercial issues

• Identify and optimize revenue streams through variation orders, claims, and contract entitlements

• Create and execute strategies for claims, change management, and dispute resolution

• Safeguard the company's contractual rights through proficient contract administration and documentation

• Lead negotiations with clients, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure advantageous results

• Manage the contractual obligations, interfaces, and compliance requirements of subcontractors and suppliers

• Assist in project risk management and foster cross-functional collaboration to address intricate commercial challenges and align business goals

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Engineering, Law, or Business Administration

• Demonstrated experience as a Contract Manager in complex EPC, infrastructure, industrial, construction, energy, or engineering projects

• Experience with hydropower projects, specifically in rehabilitation, refurbishment, modernization, and/or equipment supply

• Solid background in contract administration, claims management, variation orders, contract negotiations, and dispute prevention

• Proven capability to convert contractual rights, claims, and opportunities into quantifiable commercial results

• Extensive experience in managing contractual relationships with clients, consortium partners, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Familiarity with contractual security instruments, including bonds, bank guarantees, and insurance programs

• Proficient in English and Spanish, with exceptional negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
