Director, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute OSV's procurement strategy, policies, and operational procedures.

• Take ownership of the entire source-to-pay process, overseeing sourcing, RFP/RFQ management, contract negotiations, and vendor onboarding.

• Create and oversee a vendor/supplier management program, incorporating performance scorecards and risk assessments.

• Collaborate with Legal, IT, and business unit leaders to evaluate and negotiate contracts.

• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives throughout the vendor portfolio.

• Set up procurement systems, tools, and reporting mechanisms to enhance leadership visibility into expenditures.

• Develop and uphold purchasing approval workflows and delegation of authority.

• Provide reports on procurement KPIs, such as savings, cycle time, and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of progressive experience in procurement/sourcing, including the establishment or scaling of a procurement function.

• Proven skills in contract negotiation and vendor management.

• Familiarity with procurement/P2P systems.

• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities; adept at working cross-functionally with Legal, IT, and business leaders.

• Strong analytical abilities, demonstrated by a history of achieving measurable cost savings.

• Experience in a private equity-backed or rapidly growing environment.
