This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Oversee various procurement initiatives and create project procurement implementation strategies.
β’ Direct procurement efforts for assigned projects throughout pre-pilot, pilot, and execution readiness phases.
β’ Collaborate with commodity teams to establish project charters, assess benefits, and determine resource requirements.
β’ Track ongoing projects, provide status updates, remove obstacles, and escalate issues as necessary.
β’ Formulate procurement strategies and plans in partnership with Offer and Project Teams.
β’ Identify demand and potential suppliers while establishing channels for supplier communication.
β’ Set pricing, delivery terms, and conditions that satisfy financial, quality, and delivery expectations.
β’ Organize and manage RFx processes and supplier sourcing strategies.
β’ Draft NDAs and outline commercial terms.
β’ Request quotations, review contract proposals, and spearhead negotiations on pricing and contract terms.
β’ Analyze commodity-group costs and develop strategies for cost/value improvements.
β’ Cultivate supplier and partner relationships, addressing any contract performance issues that arise.
β’ Implement the corporate Approved Supplier List Process.
β’ Evaluate supplier financial stability, capacity, capability, manufacturing processes, market position, and overall performance.
β’ Lead contract preparation and purchasing workflows.
β’ Oversee supplier commitments, contract modifications, contract management, entitlement and cost basis analyses, agreements, and SAP updates following purchase order or contract awards.
β’ Assist Accounts Payable in resolving discrepancies related to invoices and purchase orders.
β’ Support vendor selection processes and vendor evaluations.
β’ Employ Best-Cost Country Sourcing strategies with a focus on Middle/Eastern Europe.
β’ Monitor post-purchase order milestones, including design completion, fabrication commencement, Factory Acceptance Testing, and shipment releases.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in procurement management.
β’ Preferred experience in construction project and capital equipment procurement.
β’ Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and Westinghouse's procurement procedures.
β’ Candidates must comply with relevant United States and comparable country export control requirements.
