Principal Solutions Engineer – Nuclear Fuel Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and execution of the Fuel Engineering Technology product portfolio strategy.

• Convert business goals into the Fuel Hardware and Engineering Solutions portfolio plan.

• Acquire technical knowledge of Fuel Engineering products, services, and digital solutions.

• Oversee product-related databases and manage portfolio information.

• Predict revenue and resource needs; recognize risks and opportunities.

• Identify unfulfilled customer requirements and formulate strategic solutions.

• Collaborate with internal teams, Fuel Business Managers, and clients to enhance business growth and broaden market opportunities.

• Aid in the commercialization of product technology and the deployment of digital products.

• Create business cases and provide recommendations for product innovation, digital transformation, and portfolio expansion.

• Guide the development of customer offerings from opportunity identification to contract execution.

• Support customer relationships and product commitments, which include renewals, maintenance agreements, entitlement management, and implementation planning.

• Evaluate financial variance reports and engage operations teams to comprehend performance drivers.

• Spearhead customer engagement and marketing efforts, including TechWeek strategy, sponsorship, outreach, content development, event coordination, and follow-up.

• Report to the Solutions Manager, Fuel Engineering Technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related technical field.

• At least six years of experience in technical or customer-facing roles.

• Proficiency in transforming abstract concepts and complex data into valuable insights.

• Skill in organizing, manipulating, and analyzing data from various sources and reporting formats.

• Familiarity with Fuel Engineering products, services, commercial operations, financial planning, and strategic portfolio management.

• Experience in product line and project management.
