This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and coordinate all technical facets of projects, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Create and implement system build strategies that take into account software architecture, information security, and hardware deployment.
• Offer technical insights into project timelines, budgets, resource needs, and risk management.
• Facilitate engineering workshops focused on system design, data conversion, business process evaluations, testing, validation planning, and change management.
• Install and set up OSI monarch advanced distribution management applications.
• Design and configure SCADA/GMS/EMS/ADMS/OMS systems to fulfill client requirements.
• Deploy and integrate SCADA/GMS/EMS/ADMS/OMS systems with additional equipment and software.
• Provide training and support to clients during and post-implementation.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to guarantee successful implementation.
• Conduct system and acceptance testing with end users.
• Test and validate configurations against client specifications and industry standards, including NERC CIP.
• Develop scripts and solutions for integrating third-party systems.
• Identify and resolve implementation challenges.
• Maintain systems in alignment with current advancements and industry best practices.
• Travel to customer locations and engage directly with clients to deliver, test, and integrate systems.
• Contribute to proposals, work plans, budgets, and timelines for service opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
• Ten (10) years of combined experience in project management and the implementation and consulting of utility systems software.
• Proven experience in engaging with clients to comprehend relationships and priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in organizing, leading, planning, and executing large-scale projects from the conceptual stage through to implementation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust work efforts based on client business objectives.
• Understanding of project integration lifecycle and methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and facilitate workshops encompassing the entire project lifecycle.
• Capability to work with new technologies and tools as required by project demands (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, OneNote).
• Ability to work independently and manage your own work schedule.
• Experience in creating work estimates, staffing plans, and proposals for projects of varying scales and complexities.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to customer project sites.
• Experience and capability to work on projects that may not directly relate to ADMS/OMS with appropriate training.
• Installation and configuration experience with OSI monarch advanced distribution management applications, such as Distribution Power Flow (DPF), Fault Location Isolation & Service Restoration (FLISR), and Volt/VAR Control & Optimization (VVC/VVO).
• Familiarity with GIS building tools and models.
• Experience in configuring Maven, Leitmotif, and eMAP.
