Principal Program Manager, Auto & Industrial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct intricate, cross-departmental operational programs from their inception to execution and delivery.

• Partner with product, engineering, supply chain, and customer success teams to implement operational enhancements and achieve measurable results.

• Establish and track KPIs to assess program effectiveness and pinpoint areas for ongoing improvement.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, oversee budgets, manage risks, and ensure deadlines are adhered to.

• Act as a primary liaison among stakeholders to guarantee alignment on goals and deliverables.

• Evaluate data to guide decision-making and uncover opportunities for automation and process optimization.

• Advocate for lean methodologies and operational best practices throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.

• At least 7 years of experience in program or project management, operations, or supply chain positions.

• Proven capability to manage extensive projects with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, timelines, and project scopes.

• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Experience in the Automotive Industry or Industrial background is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, supply chain platforms, and operational analytics tools.

• PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean certification is advantageous.

• Competence in project management software such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
