
Principal Product Manager – Talent Acquisition, Management Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +10 more states.
• Take ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for talent lifecycle applications, including Workday, Eightfold, Qualtrics, HackerRank, and custom TA applications.
• Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence (COEs), program leaders, HR executives, and other stakeholders to gather business requirements, define success metrics, and align product vision.
• Guide cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, prioritization, development, testing, and deployment.
• Convert business needs and priorities into clear product direction and capability roadmaps.
• Provide leadership for AI-driven capabilities like talent intelligence, matching, and skills-based career pathing & inference, ensuring consistency with business processes and policies.
• Offer clear guidance on priorities, sequencing, and scope to delivery teams, facilitating aligned execution against roadmap goals.
• Oversee the definition of product requirements and capability design, transforming business needs into clear, actionable specifications for delivery teams.
• Advocate for Agile methodologies, engaging in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning to ensure consistent delivery.
• Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) strategy and validation, defining success criteria, guiding test scenarios, and ensuring solutions meet business needs before wider deployment.
• Lead and coordinate proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs for new capabilities (e.g., AI-driven solutions), collaborating with delivery teams to assess feasibility, business value, and scalability prior to broader implementation.
• Work with stakeholders to review pilot results and inform roadmap priorities, balancing innovation with operational readiness.
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards regarding data security, privacy, and governance.
• Cultivate strong vendor relationships, overseeing third-party partnerships, feature adoptions and rollouts, and seamless integrations.
• Evaluate system performance and user feedback to pinpoint opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Effectively communicate product updates and changes to stakeholders, end-users, and leadership.
• Over 10 years of experience in HR Technology, HRIS, or SaaS product management roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Proven track record in leading complex Talent Acquisition technology initiatives within global enterprise settings.
• Extensive expertise with recruiting platforms such as Eightfold, Workday, or similar ATS/CRM solutions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts in recruiting, including skills inference and matching.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end recruiting processes and the technology that supports them.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment.
• In-depth understanding of recruitment, talent development, workforce planning processes, and the associated technology.
• Proficient in Agile software development practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
• Experience in managing vendor partnerships and facilitating integrations across systems.
• Analytical and data-driven approach, with the capability to define and monitor KPIs and utilize data for product decision-making.
