This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete recruitment process, from defining job roles and requirements to outreach, screening, interviewing, evaluating talent, conducting reference and background checks, and extending offers.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, timelines, and equitable structured selection methods.

• Provide coaching to hiring teams on inclusive recruitment practices and the utilization of SmartRecruiters ATS.

• Craft clear and transparent job postings for targeted career and social media channels.

• Build and manage talent pipelines while ensuring an equitable candidate experience.

• Foster relationships with professional networks, agencies, universities, community organizations, and outreach partners.

• Represent Oxfam America at both virtual and in-person career events.

• Design and analyze talent metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, acceptance, and retention rates.

• Facilitate consistent onboarding processes and biweekly orientations for new employees.

• Collaborate with hiring managers and internal partners to create role-specific onboarding programs.

• Organize onboarding logistics in coordination with Human Resources, hiring departments, Finance, and Technology and Information Management.

• Ensure the completion of Form I-9, E-Verify, tax documentation, policy acknowledgments, and other employment forms.

• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.

• Ensure employees receive the necessary equipment, access, and support.

• Collect feedback to enhance the onboarding experience.

• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, tracking, and management of internship, fellowship, and volunteer programs.

• Define assignments, learning objectives, supervision expectations, and timelines in collaboration with managers.

• Develop outreach initiatives targeting universities and diverse communities.

• Maintain program documentation and ensure compliance with labor laws and educational agreements.

• Monitor participation and outcomes, providing recommendations for improvement.

• Keep recruitment analytics and information updated in SmartRecruiters, Unit4 Business World, ADP Workforce Now, and other systems.

• Maintain recruitment tools, templates, process guides, and standard operating procedures.

• Analyze recruitment and onboarding data to identify trends, barriers, and opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure that records are comprehensive, accurate, and prepared for audits.

• Collaborate with HR colleagues to enhance efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining connections with candidates and employees.

• Perform additional duties as reasonably assigned related to the position.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment operations, onboarding, or a similar HR function.

• Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment across individual contributor, managerial, and executive positions.

• Strong business acumen to effectively advise hiring managers.

• Experience in coordinating onboarding processes, orientation, and employment documentation.

• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws related to recruitment and onboarding.

• Proven experience as a strategic partner to executives and key decision-makers.

• Familiarity with applicant tracking and human resources information systems.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes, deadlines, and stakeholder relationships.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Cultural humility and capability to work effectively across various functions, identities, backgrounds, and cultures.

• Sound judgment and discretion when managing confidential information.

• Preferred: experience with SmartRecruiters, Unit4 Business World, or ADP Workforce Now.

• Preferred: experience within a nonprofit, mission-driven, or globally distributed organization.

• Preferred: experience in building diverse candidate pipelines and promoting inclusive hiring practices.

• Preferred: experience in coordinating internship, student, or volunteer programs.

• Preferred: HR or recruiting certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, GPHR, AIRS, or similar credentials.

• Satisfactory references and successful completion of pre-employment checks are mandatory.

• Must adhere to U.S. employment documentation requirements, including Form I-9 and E-Verify.
