Principal Product Manager – Platform and Integration, Healthcare

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core platform capabilities, including shared services, workflow orchestration, and enterprise integration solutions.

• Manage capabilities that coordinate efforts across personnel, processes, systems, and data to ensure consistent, scalable, and efficient care operations.

• Comprehend user needs, business processes, and operational workflows to discover opportunities that enhance experiences, minimize friction, and drive business results.

• Collaborate with operational and clinical stakeholders to create scalable and effective workflows.

• Propel platform and orchestration capabilities that facilitate scalable, automated workflows across clinical, operational, and administrative functions.

• Prioritize platform investments aimed at enhancing automation, decreasing operational friction, and supporting organizational growth.

• Balance technical strategy, operational requirements, business impact, and organizational capacity in making investment decisions.

• Establish reusable platform capabilities across product teams and business functions.

• Develop and implement integration strategies involving internal systems and external technology partners.

• Promote the adoption of platform and orchestration capabilities among product, operational, and clinical stakeholders.

• Align platform and integration initiatives with organizational goals, priorities, and product roadmaps.

• Foster cross-functional alignment among technology, operations, clinical, and business stakeholders.

• Set success metrics and monitor platform performance, reliability, adoption, and operational outcomes.

• Enable new products, technologies, automation capabilities, and AI-driven solutions through foundational platform elements.

• Convert technical and architectural concepts into business outcomes and measurable value.

• Act as a strategic leader and trusted advisor for platform-related investments and priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business, healthcare administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

• Over 7 years of product management experience, including a minimum of 3 years focused on platform, infrastructure, integration, or enterprise technology products.

• More than 3 years of experience in healthcare technology (Healthcare IT), encompassing enterprise systems, integrations, data platforms, operational technology solutions, or experience in other heavily regulated industries.

• Previous experience owning enterprise platforms, APIs, integrations, or technical products within intricate environments.

• Prior experience collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable technology solutions.

• Strong comprehension of enterprise systems, APIs, integration platforms, and interoperability concepts.

• Ability to understand and analyze distributed systems, service architecture, data flows, and workflow orchestration.

• Knowledge of platform reliability, observability, scalability, monitoring, and operational excellence practices.

• Experience in balancing technical debt, infrastructure investments, and business-driven feature delivery.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with cloud-native platforms and modern software development practices is preferred.

• Master’s degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant, hands-on experience in a healthcare technology or services setting.

• Previous experience supporting AI, automation, analytics, or machine learning initiatives through platform enablement.

• Prior experience in designing or managing API-driven and event-driven architectures.

• Certifications in product management, Agile methodologies, cloud platforms, or related fields.
