This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of the Fanatics app experience and daily engagement habits of fans.
• Drive user registration, onboarding processes, first-session conversion, cross-selling, referrals, invites, and facilitate a single login across various products.
• Enhance user retention through habit loops, timely notifications, cohort analysis, and addressing funnel losses.
• Oversee the design of free-to-play games, including their cadence, prizes, integration with paid products, and contributions to user acquisition and retention.
• Manage the FanCash loyalty program, focusing on earning and burning experiences, bonus-engine features, and understanding fan behavior.
• Direct efforts related to identity, shared SDK, common components, platform adoption, service boundaries, and scalability planning.
• Tackle high-value, unscoped ecosystem challenges, either retaining ownership or delegating as necessary.
• Influence various operating companies that have distinct P&L structures, roadmaps, and priorities.
• Assess success through metrics such as account growth, app retention, participation in free-to-play offerings, FanCash utilization, adoption of shared components, cross-product engagement, and decision-making quality.
• Collaborate directly with the individual overseeing the designated area.
• A minimum of eight years of experience in product management.
• Proven ownership of consumer products and substantial experience with platform or infrastructure management.
• Ability to tackle significantly different challenges and quickly become proficient in unfamiliar domains.
• Track record of influencing acquisition or retention metrics and the ability to justify the changes made.
• Technical expertise in APIs, SDKs, authentication and identity mechanisms, data models, service boundaries, and scaling solutions under pressure.
• Proficient in writing queries and designing experiments.
• Experience in cross-organizational influence within multi-brand, multi-P&L, holding company, super-app, or marketplace settings.
• Familiarity with compliance and legal constraints related to product shipping.
• Strong written communication skills adequate for decision-making processes.
• A low-ego approach, a bias for action, and sound judgment in prioritizing critical issues.
• Experience in both consumer product and platform/infrastructure is essential.
