This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the success and advancement of DataSpring’s Provider Directory product and domain from start to finish.
• Enhance the current Directory offering with health plans and integrate it with the Universal Provider Data asset.
• Discover and prioritize new market possibilities through customer insights, competitive evaluations, and business case development.
• Convert market requirements, user profiles, workflows, and data utilization scenarios into solution concepts, roadmap priorities, and product specifications.
• Align the strategy and roadmap with industry mandates, data governance expectations, standards for directory accuracy, data quality, and interoperability requirements.
• Validate concepts using advisory groups, customers, and industry stakeholders, including proofs of concept.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategy and concept through to build, launch, growth, maturity, and retirement.
• Establish the roadmap and funding case while holding delivery teams accountable for scope, timing, and results.
• Act as a subject-matter expert and external advocate for the Provider Directory.
• Secure funding and resources through the annual planning process.
• Collaborate with Technology and UX on solution direction and requirements.
• Mediate tradeoffs, resolve decisions, and oversee execution details when necessary.
• Observe the competitive landscape and perform market sizing and buyer analysis.
• Manage packaging, value propositions, business cases, and ROI models.
• Influence go-to-market strategies and commercialization in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Account Management.
• Assist in positioning, value narratives, sales enablement, reference use cases, and launch preparedness.
• Define, monitor, and report KPIs for adoption, revenue, margin, and directory data quality.
• Advocate for provider data accuracy, validation, source-of-truth reconciliation, ongoing data quality monitoring, practitioner validation, and primary source validation.
• Lead cross-functional and matrixed teams without direct reporting authority.
• Engage with health plan executives, buyers, provider organizations, and industry stakeholders.
• Over 10 years of experience in product management, product strategy, data science, or healthcare data solutions.
• Proven experience managing provider directory data at scale.
• Familiarity with data quality management and source-of-truth reconciliation across various contributing systems.
• Experience with provider verification, primary source validation workflows, and directory data defect remediation.
• Strong expertise in business cases, financial modeling, ROI analysis, and growth potential evaluation.
• Capability to define user personas, data use cases, and comprehensive solution concepts.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in engaging customers, advisory groups, and industry stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain a roadmap through delivery while managing scope, risk, and dependencies.
• In-depth understanding of health plan buyer needs, procurement cycles, and operational workflows for provider directories.
• Experience in establishing pricing, packaging, and positioning for data products.
• Working knowledge of No Surprises Act directory provisions, CMS Medicare Advantage and Medicaid directory accuracy requirements, and state network adequacy regulations.
• Domain expertise in healthcare technology and data solutions, including privileging, data management, data governance, interoperability, and/or provider operations.
• Experience in presenting strategic recommendations, business cases, and investment opportunities to executive leadership.
• Familiarity with the provider directory and provider data vendor landscape.
• Demonstrated success in owning a product or domain from start to finish through rapid growth, launch, and commercialization with health plan clients.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Degrees in healthcare administration, public health, or technology-related fields are preferred.
