Principal Product Manager, Directed Workflows

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and spearhead a long-term product vision for Directed Workflows as an AI-centric service system

• Collaborate with Sales and Business Operations to define the sales and service processes integrated within the system

• Create the AI harness, encompassing context engineering, tool design, memory, orchestration, and safety measures

• Assess where AI agents should perform reasoning, deterministic systems should be implemented, and human intervention is necessary

• Manage the evaluation infrastructure that assesses AI agent output against the desired process

• Gather insights from operator feedback in real-time and conduct experiments to assess results

• Arrange impactful pilots into a scalable platform

• Phase out or redesign initiatives that fail to enhance metrics while scaling successful strategies

• Enhance experiences for customers, real estate agents, and home finance operators across Zillow

• Articulate strategy, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline

• Over 10 years of product management experience, with ownership of intricate systems that span multiple teams and customer or operator journeys

• Proven experience in launching agentic or decision-making products as a closed loop

• Expertise in designing AI harnesses and evaluation infrastructure that validate and enhance outcomes

• Experience in crafting sales or service strategies in collaboration with business leaders

• Strong analytical skills employing data, experimentation, and product/model assessments

• History of influencing senior stakeholders in Engineering, AI, Operations, and business domains

• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

• Mortgage or lending experience is a plus

• Familiarity with workflow platforms, operator interfaces, or capacity-aware routing is advantageous
