Principal Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement multi-year software product roadmaps for essential business units.

• Convert broad organizational objectives into detailed functional workflows, ensuring cohesion throughout the end-to-end solution.

• Make swift, data-informed decisions in uncertain situations to achieve crucial milestones.

• Coordinate with stakeholders across R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, and Clinical teams.

• Oversee the complete product lifecycle for intricate software solutions, from order ingestion to lab execution and patient reporting.

• Transform scientific, clinical, and technical requirements into solid and scalable software specifications.

• Observe operations and interact with customers to confirm actual software needs in real-world scenarios.

• Evaluate interactions across software systems and the entire data lifecycle.

• Manage product backlogs and facilitate Agile ceremonies.

• Leverage LLMs and generative AI tools to enhance product discovery and the synthesis of requirements.

• Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams on global standards and certifications, including FDA design controls, IEC 62304, and HIPAA compliance.

• Identify and address product risks while ensuring documentation and compliance are maintained.

• Mentor Senior Product Managers and cross-functional team members.

• Promote accountability, technical excellence, and collaboration across functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of product management experience in high-scale software or biotech sectors.

• Demonstrated success operating at a Director-level seniority.

• Experience in building and launching new software products from inception in a startup or internal incubator setting.

• Extensive experience in highly regulated environments, including FDA design controls, HIPAA, IEC 62304, or ISO standards.

• Familiarity with HealthTech, MedTech, or genomics is a significant advantage.

• Strong capability to comprehend complex technical architectures, such as APIs, microservices, LIMS, data platforms, and event-driven systems.

• Practical experience utilizing LLMs and generative AI tools.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• BS/MS in a relevant technical, scientific, or quantitative field; an MBA or equivalent experience is beneficial.

• Ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.

• In-depth architectural and functional systems knowledge.

• Capability to validate software for clinical and laboratory operational users.
