Principal Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete product lifecycle from concept through to discontinuation across various product domains.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to both junior and senior product managers.

• Influence product leadership, guiding direction and strategy effectively.

• Spot investment opportunities in collaboration with customers and go-to-market teams.

• Create business cases and roadmaps that are rooted in customer value and insights from relationships.

• Establish long-term product trajectories leveraging hypotheses, data, market insights, and current trends.

• Balance various initiatives according to user needs and business results.

• Define work plans and engage directly with development teams to ensure successful delivery.

• Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Marketing to achieve outcomes through effective communication, education, release management, and monitoring post-release.

• Oversee post-release adoption, maintenance, additional functionality, and product sunset processes.

• Hold accountability for a significant portion of the overall product strategy and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with the roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive product management experience within B2B SaaS.

• At least 3 years in a senior or principal capacity, overseeing significant aspects of a solution and addressing customer challenges.

• Experience in formal or informal leadership roles.

• Relevant market expertise in relationship intelligence, sales intelligence, CRM/data quality, martech, or similar data-centric B2B SaaS sectors serving professional services or enterprise clients.

• Understanding of how professional services, financial services, or consulting organizations manage and utilize client relationship data.

• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.

• Superior communication and storytelling skills tailored for both technical and executive audiences.

• Competence in conducting user research and usability testing directly with customers.

• Comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Practical experience with backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative development processes.

• Proven track record of collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Design teams.

• Demonstrated iterative approach to enhance understanding and reduce risk.

• Proven ability to articulate vision and prioritize investments that yield the highest value.
