Principal Product Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify pivotal questions, create analytical frameworks, and offer recommendations that shape product and leadership strategies.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of customer behavior, conversion rates, retention, and areas for growth.

• Oversee the experimental strategy across various product areas, encompassing design, guidelines, interpretation, and cross-experiment analysis.

• Validate, refine, and enhance AI-generated analyses while training AI systems over time.

• Integrate insights from different product areas, experiments, and data sources to uncover patterns and strategic opportunities.

• Establish standards for merging AI with analytical precision and enhance team practices.

• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and executive leadership to influence strategy across high-impact product lines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in product analytics within consumer-facing, high-growth settings.

• Proven track record of independently identifying gaps, framing questions, constructing answers, and delivering insights.

• Experience in influencing product development rather than merely reporting on completed products.

• In-depth knowledge of experiment design, causal inference, and power analysis.

• Regular use of AI tools and an understanding of their advantages, hallucination risks, and limitations.

• Strong writing and presentation skills with confidence.

• Ability to communicate effectively with executives and data engineers.

• Proficient with Snowflake, dbt, Amplitude, Hex, and Mode.

• Solid SQL foundations to reason through data logic, validate AI-generated outputs, and troubleshoot issues.

• Capability to thrive in a consumer-facing, high-growth environment.
