Business Analyst – Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the strategic product owner to outline features and functionalities that align with business objectives.

• Work alongside internal and external stakeholders to accurately document project specifications.

• Craft user stories and acceptance criteria that incorporate necessary technical dependencies.

• Provide support and guidance to the Product Owner on managing and refining the product backlog.

• Engage in Scrum ceremonies, which include backlog refinement, road mapping, release planning, and sprint planning.

• Aid the project team in defining deliverables and creating product-level documentation.

• Take part in retrospectives and champion positive changes.

• Ensure timely updates are made to project and time tracking systems.

• Enhance understanding of systems, products, and industry knowledge.

• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement best practices.

• Work with the Product Owner and team to strategize and execute project implementations.

• Develop agile practice skills and their practical application.

• Assist in identifying and alleviating project risks.

• Contribute technical product knowledge to strategic business discussions.

• Support with other assigned tasks and projects as needed.

• Safeguard, secure, and appropriately manage confidential Ascensus data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven success in a Business Analyst role or similar experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including effective listening.

• Proficient in PC applications such as SQL and Microsoft Office products.

• Familiarity with common business applications and analytical tools.

• Knowledge and/or experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies.

• Relevant knowledge of the technologies utilized by the team.

• Ability to safeguard, secure, and appropriately manage confidential information.

• Capacity to uphold Ascensus organizational culture and core values.
