📋 Description

• Oversee, mentor, and nurture the development of the People Operations Business Partner.

• Create and expand the People Operations Business Partner function throughout the employee lifecycle.

• Define performance expectations, competencies, and quality standards for POBP activities.

• Provide guidance to senior executives on organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations.

• Align enterprise priorities with a people strategy that supports company objectives.

• Develop strategies regarding the influence of AI and automation on roles, skills, team structures, and management practices.

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Organization Enablement, Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, and delivery leaders.

• Create frameworks for workforce planning and structures for career progression.

• Assist in making decisions regarding organizational design, restructures, leadership transitions, position eliminations, and other workforce changes.

• Assess spans of control, reporting structures, and organizational capabilities.

• Establish standards for technology-driven efficiency proposals and change management strategies.

• Navigate complex leadership, labor relations, and employee relations issues.

• Stay informed of relevant employment laws and collective bargaining obligations.

• Lead and oversee intricate cross-functional people initiatives from inception to evaluation.

• Deliver executive-level updates regarding progress, risks, and results.

• Utilize workforce data to spot trends, indicators of organizational health, and emerging risks.

• Enhance workforce reporting and decision-making processes.

• Initiate projects that enhance the experience for employees and managers.

• Refine policies, processes, systems, and practices to ensure clarity, scalability, compliance, and efficiency.

• Advocate for self-service tools and standardized procedures while maintaining discretion for complex scenarios.


⛳️ Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience in People Operations and/or Human Resources.

• Proven ability to translate business strategy into enterprise-level organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies.

• In-depth understanding of People Operations and Human Resources principles, as well as relevant federal and state regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and NLRA.

• Proficient in HCM systems.

• Skilled in influencing senior executives and stakeholders without formal authority.

• Experience in coaching and developing talent.

• Ability to foster collaborative relationships with executives, managers, employees, and union representatives.

• Strong analytical capabilities and experience utilizing workforce data to identify trends, assess risk, and inform decisions.

• Excellent judgment in complex, sensitive, or ambiguous situations.

• Capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and adaptability.

• Proficient with GSuite, Slack, Zoom, Excel, Apple computers, and tools that facilitate a remote work environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to function independently as well as within a team.

• Ability to thrive in a distributed, remote-first setting.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Capacity to meet government contract requirements.

• Work authorization that does not necessitate visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• May be subject to a government background check or security clearance.

• Must reside in one of the specified states and work from within the contiguous United States.
