This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate closely with Clinical and Operations leaders to implement people strategies that foster business growth, enhance team effectiveness, and promote organizational well-being.
β’ Guide managers in areas such as performance management, employee relations, team development, engagement, retention, and everyday personnel issues.
β’ Strengthen and support the people infrastructure, including performance evaluations, talent assessments, succession planning, and organizational strategy.
β’ Lead and assist in cross-functional initiatives related to policy revisions, job descriptions, organizational design, team planning, and process enhancements.
β’ Convert company and team OKRs into actionable people strategies that facilitate execution and drive business results.
β’ Detect organizational risks, talent deficiencies, and support needs for managers while proposing effective solutions.
β’ Collaborate with leaders during change management as teams grow, adapt, or restructure.
β’ Work alongside the Employee Relations Specialist to identify trends in employee relations, highlight risks, and enhance manager support and team performance.
β’ Utilize data, trends, and the overall business context to inform recommendations and address complex personnel challenges.
β’ Ensure adherence to employment laws, policies, and people practices across a distributed workforce.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR or People roles, including direct involvement as a People Business Partner or HR Business Partner.
β’ Experience in supporting large, non-exempt employee populations, preferably in healthcare, clinician-facing, or other licensure-driven sectors.
β’ In-depth understanding of California labor laws and HR best practices.
β’ Previous experience in startups, ideally within Seed to Series B companies during phases of rapid growth.
β’ Strong capabilities in business partnership with the ability to establish credibility and trust with leaders in operations-heavy teams.
β’ Demonstrated experience in coaching managers through performance management, employee relations, team effectiveness, and organizational transitions.
β’ Proven ability to build or enhance people programs and infrastructure rather than merely maintaining existing systems.
β’ Strong project management and execution skills, capable of transitioning seamlessly between strategic and detailed tasks.
β’ Data-driven approach with the capacity to leverage metrics and trends for informed decision-making and recommendations.
β’ Excellent judgment, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Outstanding communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, clarity, and discretion.
β’ Highly organized and self-motivated, able to work effectively in a remote setting.
