People Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic partner to business stakeholders on major initiatives while proactively addressing legal and compliance risks.

• Investigate and resolve employee relations issues.

• Implement decisions within set policies and develop solutions that improve employee experience.

• Engage in organizational design, departmental restructuring, role redefinition, and joint venture integrations.

• Act as a subject matter expert in FMLA, CFRA, state-protected, and personal leaves.

• Oversee reasonable accommodation and leave requests, including return-to-work and transitional work arrangements.

• Guide employees on policies, communication, development, and performance management.

• Offer performance management support to leadership, including counseling, career development, and disciplinary measures.

• Utilize metrics, analytics, and employee lifecycle data to shape talent management strategies.

• Implement change management strategies that facilitate business evolution.

• Conduct stay and exit interviews for store leadership and propose actionable solutions.

• Develop specialized training programs in collaboration with the People Team’s centers of expertise.

• Support HR policies and procedures.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proactive in identifying solutions in unique or challenging circumstances.

• Strong enthusiasm for supporting individuals and adopting a people-first approach.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is an advantage.

• Must be available to work standard west coast business hours.
