This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +32 more locations.
• Deliver technical and engineering management expertise for the development of best practices, standards, and technical reports.
• Facilitate and oversee working groups and user forum projects aimed at creating industry guidance, standards, and technical documentation.
• Assist in the development, management, and promotion of standards, technical reports, qualification/certification programs, reference materials, and collaborative research.
• Utilize technical and engineering knowledge in project management and product development.
• Create statements of work for new and updated standards and technical reports.
• Strategically plan and integrate technical activities to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate industry feedback and liaise with related industry groups while representing subcommittees and working groups in meetings and forums.
• Produce and evaluate technical oversight reports, conduct technical assessments, address non-conformities, and ensure timely document publication.
• Provide support for subcommittee and working-group initiatives through technical planning, meeting logistics, facilitation, agenda creation, minute-taking, issue resolution, and communications.
• Organize and lead technical meetings, seminars, and sessions; prepare relevant materials, reports, and presentations.
• Assist in industry conferences, technical meetings, program communication strategies, workshops, presentations, exhibits, and marketing materials.
• Support leadership committees and straightforward new initiatives.
• Suggest process enhancements, identify gaps and issues, and report findings to management.
• Engage in user-experience research to enhance ease of use, customer satisfaction, and future product offerings.
• Contribute to strategic plans by aligning deadlines, objectives, and milestones.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in automotive or automated vehicle engineering, project management, project engineering, or technical management roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, science, or business management.
• Technical/engineering expertise with experience in the use, development, or auditing of technical standards; experience in the automated or automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Exceptional analytical, writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to organize effectively, take independent action, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and maintain confidentiality in functions.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Awareness of global and cultural sensitivities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of trade association operations.
• Master’s degree in engineering, science, quality, finance, or business management is preferred.
• Role-related certifications are preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing volunteer committees or similar roles is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and standard office application software.
• Familiarity with software and database systems.

• Ability to maintain a confidential and secure workspace and adhere to company data security policies.
