This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +41 more states.
• Ensure that field contractors adhere to contracting standards, regulatory requirements, established standard templates, reimbursement standards, network and contract policies, as well as the non-standard deviation process.
• Offer direct and continuous guidance and support to field contractors regarding contracting standards, lines of business (LOB) regulations, and the use of the Contract Management System (Contract Manager).
• Assist field contractors with non-standard issues.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and Matrix Leadership on policy, language, and “ability to administer” matters.
• Facilitate reporting and compliance with the Governance non-standards review process.
• Operate within the Governance Department responsible for Network Standards, Systems, Contracting Governance, and Network Governance for Providers and Suppliers.
• Contribute to the broader NBS Organization and collaborate within the larger NBS Governance Team.
• Lead and develop strategic initiatives.
• Drive results across various departments in a matrixed environment.
• Engage directly with corporate leadership.
• Manage multiple complex priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or a strategic consulting environment OR a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of consulting experience in strategic planning, business development, and financial management operations OR 8 years of experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development within the healthcare industry.
• Proven experience in leading and formulating strategy with the ability to cultivate strong connections with individuals and teams.
• Capability to drive results by collaborating across departments in a matrixed environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including presentation, written, and verbal communication.
• Experience in business analytics and information synthesis.
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization while managing multiple complex priorities.
• Experience working directly with corporate leadership.
• Proficient in analytical, program management, and problem-solving skills.
• A background in Compliance, Regulatory Operations, or Audit is strongly preferred.
• Subject matter expertise in Contracting, Negotiating, Provider/Supplier Services, Project Management, Health Plan Operations, Health Plan Regulations, and Accreditation Standards.
• High level of business acumen and professionalism.
• Ability to interpret complex conditions and identify solutions for risk mitigation.
• Skills to foster collaboration, value diverse perspectives, and secure support and buy-in for organizational proposals.
• Proficient in matrix management and possess significant business acumen.
• Ability to drive and lead an organization through change.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
