This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Ensure that field contractors adhere to contracting standards, regulatory requirements, governing standard templates, reimbursement standards, network and contract policy, and the process for non-standard deviations.
• Offer continuous guidance and support to field contractors regarding contracting standards, Lines of Business (LOB) regulations, and the use of the Contract Management System (Contract Manager).
• Assist field contractors with non-standard issues.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and Matrix Leadership on policy, language, and administrative capability issues.
• Support compliance and reporting related to the Governance non-standards review process.
• Operate within the Governance Department, which is responsible for Network Standards, Systems, Contracting Governance, and Network Governance for Providers and Suppliers.
• Provide support to the broader NBS Organization and the larger NBS Governance Team.
• A Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or a strategic consulting environment, OR a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of consulting experience in strategic planning, business development, and financial management operations, OR 8 years of experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development within the healthcare industry.
• Proven experience in leading and developing strategies with the capability to establish strong connections with individuals and teams.
• Ability to achieve results by collaborating across departments in a matrixed setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, encompassing presentation, written, and verbal communication.
• Experience in business analytics and information synthesis.
• Familiarity with strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly dynamic and rapidly changing organization while managing multiple complex priorities.
• Competence in working directly with corporate leadership.
• Strong analytical, program management, and problem-solving abilities.
• A background in Compliance, Regulatory Operations, or Audit is strongly preferred.
• Subject Matter Expertise in Contracting, Negotiating, Provider/Supplier Services, Project Management, Health Plan Operations, Health Plan Regulations, and Accreditation Standards.
• High level of business acumen and professionalism.
• Ability to interpret complex conditions and devise solutions for risk mitigation.
• Capacity to promote collaboration, appreciate diverse perspectives, and secure support and buy-in for organizational proposals.
• Skills in matrix management and a high degree of business acumen.
