This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop the strategy for engaging healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the field.
• Provide guidance and direction for the US Oncology Field Medical Prostate and Bladder/RCC Teams.
• Act as the primary medical lead, collaborating closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Clinical Development and Operations, and CMAO Platform Functions.
• Analyze and present field medical insights in a clear and actionable manner to support Pfizer Oncology strategy.
• Collaborate with the Therapeutic Area USMA Lead to formulate aligned strategic plans.
• Supervise the execution and achievement of US Medical Affairs business objectives by the field medical team.
• Report directly to the US Field Medical Lead and participate in the US Field Medical and US Medical Affairs Leadership Team.
• Design and implement field medical strategies and tactics in conjunction with the US HQ Medical Team.
• Develop, execute, and enhance the external HCP engagement strategy.
• Analyze and relay field medical insights for ongoing strategic alignment.
• Work alongside the US National Commercial Franchise Lead to ensure compliant medical-commercial collaboration.
• Coordinate with Clinical Development and Operations to prioritize strategic initiatives and enable field medical support for company-sponsored studies.
• Create oncology and therapeutic-area KPIs and dashboards in collaboration with CMAO Platform functions.
• Assess the performance of the field medical team.
• Contribute to the strategy for developing field medical content and assessing resources.
• Ensure comprehensive training for the field medical team.
• Organize the field medical Congress Strategy and HCP Engagement Plan.
• Oversee travel and expense and project budgets for the Prostate and Bladder/RCC Field Medical Teams.
• Manage field-based Team Leaders.
• Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Medical Affairs.
• Experience in field medical leadership.
• A strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities, with a proven history of leading high-performing field medical teams.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time management skills, complemented by high emotional intelligence.
• A strong collaborator with the ability to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic environment, engaging with individuals across all organizational levels.
• PhD, PharmD, MD, or MS degree.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role at present or in the future.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is a requirement.
