This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Maintain the studio's commitment to design quality, ensuring it is both replicable and scalable.
• Create frameworks, training programs, and standards for craftsmanship.
• Provide guidance to Leads and Senior Leads regarding craft strategy.
• Establish design vision and strategy aligned with client business objectives.
• Collaborate on a portfolio of large and intricate products.
• Facilitate alignment between clients and designers, often exercising influence without direct authority.
• Adapt design standards in response to client requirements, advancements in AI, technology, and evolving industry trends.
• Engage with Director, VP, and C-suite stakeholders effectively.
• Utilize storytelling techniques to gain client support and foster team unity.
• Represent the studio at keynotes, panels, and significant publications.
• Aid business development by establishing design credibility in client discussions and pitches.
• Contribute to ongoing creative enhancement, innovation, and excellence.
• At least 10 years of full-time experience in the product design industry.
• Accessible portfolio showcasing your work.
• Must have a minimum of 3 hours overlap with the Toronto EST timezone.
