Principal Contract Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, interpret, and negotiate contractual agreements that support global sales and channel teams.

• Create clear and concise contracts that address customer contractual matters with minimal supervision.

• Effectively and efficiently negotiate intricate contracts with customers and partners.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of technology services and how contract provisions relate to those services.

• Identify, communicate, and escalate business issues to the relevant line of business.

• Examine termination requests and breach claims, providing timely written responses.

• Assist with special projects as required.

• Collaborate with colleagues in a collegial manner consistent with Company values.

• Adhere to Company regulations, policies, working practices, information security requirements, data protection practices, and data handling agreements.

• Report security vulnerabilities and incidents to the appropriate personnel, including the Security function.

• Complete annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgments.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in complex contract negotiation.

• Experience ideally within the information technology services sector.

• Juris Doctor (JD) preferred; paralegal certification or equivalent experience considered.

• Strong skills in contract drafting and negotiation.

• Previous customer service experience with direct interaction and support for sales and channel is required.

• Capability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive self-starter with robust leadership abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong business acumen and ability to function effectively as a team player.

• Detail-oriented.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Salesforce.
