Principal Contract Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, analyze, and negotiate contractual documents that support global sales and channel teams.

• Make autonomous decisions in line with Company policies and procedures.

• Propose potential solutions to contract-related issues.

• Support Contract Specialists and internal teams with specific contractual matters.

• Create clear and concise contracts that address customer contractual concerns with minimal supervision.

• Negotiate complex contracts with customers and partners in an effective and efficient manner.

• Gain a thorough understanding of technology services and how contract clauses relate to those services.

• Identify, report, and escalate business issues to the relevant line of business.

• Investigate and deliver timely written responses to termination requests and breach allegations.

• Assist with special projects as required.

• Adhere to Company regulations, policies, working practices, data protection, information security, privacy, compliance, and data handling standards.

• Appropriately report security vulnerabilities and incidents.

• Complete annual compliance training certification and acknowledge policies.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least seven (7) years of experience in complex contract negotiation.

• Preferably experienced within the information technology services sector.

• Juris Doctor (JD) preferred; paralegal certification or equivalent experience will be considered.

• Strong skills in contract drafting and negotiation.

• Prior customer service experience with direct interaction and support of sales and channel is essential.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated individual with robust leadership skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Strong business acumen and a collaborative team player.

• Detail-oriented.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Salesforce.
