Principal Consultant – Oracle Cloud ERP Financials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver techno-functional expertise across Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules, including integrations with both internal and external applications.

• Recognize gaps, propose solution alternatives, and ensure that deliverables align with business goals, application service levels, IT strategies, and design intentions.

• Gather and map client Finance and Accounting business requirements to Oracle Cloud capabilities; identify gaps and provide advice on options, risks, and value propositions.

• Maintain accuracy in requirements traceability, solution design, configuration, and implementation activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Configure Oracle Cloud ERP solutions to align with approved designs and Oracle best practices for implementation.

• Organize and facilitate functional design sessions with business users across various geographical regions and functional domains.

• Integrate requirements from multiple design sessions and teams into the overall Cloud ERP system design.

• Create and execute test cases, support testing activities, and assist in resolving test failures and anomalies.

• Align departmental policies and procedures with the processes and procedures of the Cloud ERP system.

• Support project execution methodologies, report on project advancements, and identify and manage issues to resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher.

• 8-10+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.

• Experience as a Functional Consultant in at least 5 Oracle ERP Cloud implementations.

• Proven experience in facilitating Business Process Workshops, Proof of Concept sessions, Conference Room Pilots, System Integrated Testing, and UAT test case development and oversight.

• Experience in gathering requirements, designing, and implementing General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Lease Accounting, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Projects Portfolio Management, and Accounting Hub.

• Experience in enhancing financial processes and reporting through ERP, including supporting testing and user adoption of newly defined procedures.

• Ability to thrive in a flexible, innovative, and fast-paced work environment.

• Expert knowledge in financial system integration and overall ERP development, testing, and support.

• Comprehensive understanding of operational financial controls and accounting processes.

• Extensive functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AR, AP, LA, EX, FA, CM, PPM, and AHCS).

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior and executive management and influence outcomes.

• Proficient in English.

• Prior experience in Healthcare/Hospital, Insurance, Construction & Engineering, Utilities, or Financial Services is a plus.
