Principal Computer Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the SAP functionalities related to manufacturing, production, and material requirements planning.

• Create specifications for SAP computer systems that meet the Manufacturing and Logistics Operations' needs, adhering to company architecture standards for ERP1 and ERP2.

• Facilitate discussions aimed at integrating ERP1 and ERP2 into a unified S4 system.

• Design and develop system specifications that align with business requirements and architectural standards.

• Establish and document system parameters and formats.

• Ensure that compatibility is maintained across various hardware and software platforms.

• Modify system configurations based on current and anticipated capacity and capability requirements.

• Revise and enhance existing systems and procedures to rectify deficiencies and boost data handling, conversion, input/output, and storage efficiency.

• Provide solutions for technical challenges of increasing scope and complexity.

• Expect to travel approximately 10% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of pertinent experience in operations, production, manufacturing, quality, industrial engineering, software development, equipment maintenance, or similar fields; OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree accompanied by 7 years of pertinent experience.

• A total of 9 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining a US Secret Clearance.

• Must be a US citizen.

• Familiarity or experience related to SAP functionalities in manufacturing, production, and material requirements planning.

• Preferred: A Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering or a related STEM field.

• Preferred: Experience with SAP business processes in manufacturing and production.

• Preferred: A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Production Engineering.

• Preferred: Professional experience in manufacturing and materials/production planning.

• Preferred: Experience with SAP or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

• Preferred: Background in defense, aerospace, or security sectors.

• Preferred: Technical expertise in a manufacturing/production environment.
