Principal Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.

• Ensure system integrity and security are upheld.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation.

• Support and advance automation initiatives.

• Develop scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and Python.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI services.

• Monitor and optimize cloud systems for peak performance.

• Collaborate across teams and with external customer groups to formulate strategies and design solutions.

• Provide guidance to implementation teams during infrastructure deployments.

• Address escalations and make assessments, provide recommendations, or offer solutions to resolve issues.

• Write and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and knowledge articles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical training, certifications, or a relevant degree.

• 5–8+ years of experience in cloud engineering and operations.

• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.

• Skills in both Linux and Windows Server environments.

• Knowledge of cloud computing and cloud solutions.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Proven experience in delivering presentations to diverse audiences across various organizational levels.

• Must be able to pass a background check to qualify for a Public Trust position.

• Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
