Principal Business Process Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the organization’s top-priority, cross-functional initiatives focused on process improvement and transformation, from identifying opportunities to implementation and realizing benefits.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to discover, prioritize, and carry out strategic initiatives that enhance growth, operational efficiency, customer and employee experiences, quality, and financial performance.

• Formulate long-term strategies for process transformation that align with organizational goals and future business requirements.

• Design future-state business processes, operating models, workflows, governance structures, controls, roles, and performance metrics.

• Assess organizational performance and pinpoint opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, scalability, risk management, and customer outcomes.

• Conduct both quantitative and qualitative analyses to uncover trends, performance gaps, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.

• Execute financial, operational, risk, and business impact analyses that support strategic recommendations and investment decisions.

• Leverage operational and financial metrics, predictive analysis, benchmarking, and statistical methods for informed decision-making.

• Lead diagnostic and process engineering initiatives utilizing value stream mapping, process mapping, capacity modeling, time studies, workflow analysis, simulation, root cause analysis, and statistical evaluation.

• Implement advanced Lean Six Sigma, process reengineering, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Convert complex business and analytical insights into actionable recommendations.

• Establish strategies for implementation, project governance, success metrics, and executive reporting frameworks.

• Supervise implementation and post-implementation evaluations to guarantee sustainable outcomes and benefit realization.

• Create and facilitate training programs aimed at enhancing the organization’s process improvement capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 8 years of experience in process improvement or process reengineering.

• Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is mandatory.

• Proven experience in data collection, research, analytics, problem identification, and presenting solution recommendations.

• Experience with financial and risk analysis, business case development, and cost-benefit evaluations.

• Comprehensive understanding of project planning techniques and methodologies.

• Expertise in one’s own discipline along with extensive knowledge of other relevant functions.

• Proficiency in business process analytics utilizing Excel, flowcharting, activity diagrams, and workflow models.

• Advanced skills in applying Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, statistics, data analysis, and change leadership techniques.

• Capable of documenting, proposing, negotiating, and presenting approaches and solutions effectively.

• Strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of the business landscape.

• Ability to translate business requirements into process, IT, or other solutions.

• Skilled at visualizing and devising plans for future business outcomes and changes.

• Demonstrated experience using tracking, reporting, and process mapping tools.

• Excellent conflict management, influence, change management, and coaching abilities.

• Proficient in communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all organizational levels.
