This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Manage a designated portfolio of key preneed distribution accounts.
• Create and implement business plans at the account level to achieve or surpass annual sales, retention, and profitability goals.
• Identify, qualify, and establish new strategic account relationships.
• Oversee the contracting, onboarding, and launch processes in collaboration with sales leadership, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
• Act as the primary day-to-day relationship manager for principals, corporate executives, and top-performing agents.
• Conduct business reviews, facilitate joint planning sessions, and perform on-site visits.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales, Account Management, and Strategic Accounts teams to convert prospects into finalized production.
• Identify opportunities for product, illustration, technology, and service improvements while shaping the strategic account roadmap.
• Lead executive presentations, respond to RFPs, and engage in industry conferences.
• Maintain Salesforce CRM activity logs, production forecasts, and regular pipeline reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Mentor and coach team members informally.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or key/strategic account management, particularly in life insurance, annuities, or preneed distribution.
• Proven history of achieving and surpassing a multi-million-dollar production or premium quota through third-party distribution channels.
• Demonstrated capability to establish, contract, and expand complex, multi-stakeholder distribution relationships.
• In-depth understanding of preneed and/or life insurance product mechanics, illustrations, and regulatory concerns across various states.
• Exceptional executive presence, with the credibility to advise principals and C-suite executives.
• Proficient in Salesforce and modern sales technologies.
• Possession of life insurance licensing or a commitment to obtain it within a specified onboarding timeframe.
• Willingness and capacity to travel 8–12 nights per month throughout the U.S.
• Ability to operate from a home office.
