This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Lead the most extensive, intricate, and strategically important cross-domain analysis projects within the domain group.
• Define analysis challenges, establish scope, approach, dependencies, and necessary BA capacity across various domains.
• Oversee Domain BAs throughout the design and implementation phases.
• Ensure coherence of requirements across domain borders to prevent any contradictory or overlapping needs.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, feasibility assessments, and options analysis for initiatives with high ambiguity or those involving senior stakeholders.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders across domain teams, as well as senior product, delivery, and engineering personnel.
• Contribute to cross-domain UAT planning and guarantee comprehensive end-to-end test coverage.
• Uphold analytical quality during design and implementation, serving as a senior escalation point for ambiguous or contentious analysis issues.
• Ensure the consistent application of domain-model terminology across BA artifacts.
• Integrate initiative work into the T&F business architecture, encompassing processes, organizational structures, systems, and data flows.
• Lead the documentation of capability-level processes, organizational frameworks, systems, and data flows.
• Support Business Decision Records and identify chances to unify or streamline processes.
• Validate initiative analyses against target architecture and the domain model.
• Collaboratively define and uphold BA methodology, standards, templates, artifacts, and shared terminology.
• Jointly establish the BA competency framework and progression model.
• Manage the BA community of practice and address skill gaps throughout the practice.
• Define requirements governance and UAT standards.
• Review BA artifacts and provide oversight on quality.
• Mentor Domain BAs without direct line-management authority.
• Degree-level education or professional experience that has provided equivalent knowledge.
• Business analysis certification (e.g., BCS/ISEB, IIBA CBAP) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Extensive experience in business analysis within complex, multi-domain organizations.
• Experience in publishing, content, or platform business is a plus.
• Proven ability in scoping and managing large, complex, or cross-domain analysis projects from start to finish.
• Experience in coordinating multiple BAs during the design and implementation phases.
• Proven experience in establishing BA standards and methodologies in a federated or distributed delivery environment.
• Direct experience collaborating with enterprise or business architects on capability-driven analysis and design.
• Comfortable contributing to architecture-level artifacts and documenting architectural decisions.
• Strong history of engaging with senior stakeholders, including technology leaders and business sponsors.
• Coaching and development experience with junior or mid-career BAs, even in the absence of formal line management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues across various locations and time zones.
• Must possess the right to work and reside in the UK.
