This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +14 more states.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships and establish trusted relationships with customers, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers.
• Formulate strategic plans that align with the future objectives of customers.
• Provide technical thought leadership while articulating industry trends and insights.
• Coordinate technical engagement and resources to fulfill customer requirements.
• Address technical and competitive objections throughout the sales process.
• Evaluate product applications, showcase solution value, and promote customer adoption and usage.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations either remotely or at customer locations.
• Engage in ongoing discovery with solutions architects, product specialists, and product managers.
• Develop complex, multi-product proof-of-concept solutions.
• Address customer concerns and liaise with senior leaders and subject-matter experts.
• Perform case reviews and proactively ensure that customer environments are operating optimally.
• Keep detailed records of customers, use cases, and technical strategies in Salesforce.
• Act as an external spokesperson and advocate for the company’s vision and technologies.
• Update Sales and Sales Engineering management on account developments.
• Deliver effective presentations to executives, customers, and prospects.
• Lead or collaborate on initiatives related to go-to-market strategies and sales areas.
• Stay informed about competitive technologies and their positioning.
• Provide team leadership, feedback, and best practices.
• Develop and share innovative use cases and go-to-market strategies.
• Mentor and guide other ATS professionals.
• Collaborate across sales, product development, and marketing teams.
• Adjust technology strategies to generate business value for customers.
• Leverage industry knowledge, including trends, challenges, and regulatory landscapes.
• Take ownership of outcomes and responsibility for achieving strategic goals.
• Drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and new business initiatives.
• Align technology solutions with customers’ business strategies and desired outcomes.
• Support initiatives related to go-to-market strategies, product development, and direction.
• Provide thought leadership across a range of technologies.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Over 10 years of technical customer service experience in high-tech, indirect sales, and/or procurement settings.
• Proven track record of facilitating customer adoption of technology.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, corporate offices, and events.
• Familiarity with CSG’s competitive landscape and technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of DaaS / VDI, Applications, Enterprise Browser, Enterprise Mobility Management, Networking, Enterprise Security, Data Management, and Data Analytics.
• Strong grasp of business processes and their integration into enterprise applications.
• Possess analytical and negotiation skills, especially at the C-level.
• Capability to quickly understand and communicate technological and business concepts.
• Ability to assess and develop teams while mentoring and motivating team members.
• History of achieving revenue targets and supporting accurate forecasts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Skilled at prioritizing and managing a variety of tasks, objectives, and risks.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• High level of specialized knowledge in sales and product solutions.
