This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of the complete technical strategy for a complex portfolio of North American Government federal accounts.
• Convert the mission priorities of the Department of War and associated agencies into comprehensive multi-year technology roadmaps for Citrix.
• Build trusted advisor relationships at the executive level and establish governance across customer and partner ecosystems.
• Assess current architectures, identify constraints, and recognize risks in both classified and unclassified environments.
• Create target-state architectures and decision-making frameworks.
• Document reference architectures, security baselines, playbooks, and narratives tailored for customer readiness.
• Act as a senior technical representative for Citrix with customer executives, industry forums, and strategic partners.
• Direct technical strategies for intricate evaluations and competitive displacement efforts.
• Formulate win strategies and provide guidance to account teams on positioning and executive communication.
• Deliver architecture briefings, technical reviews, and product demonstrations that are ready for executive audiences, both remotely and on-site.
• Design and manage complex, multi-product proofs of value, including success criteria, test plans, and pathways for production transitions.
• Author and maintain technical roadmaps aligned with executive priorities, opportunity proposals, high-level designs, and customer success plans.
• Oversee major incidents and escalations, including stakeholder communications, trend analysis, root-cause examinations, and risk recommendations.
• Establish and facilitate customer cadences at the senior level, which include architecture boards, technical strategy reviews, value briefings, and environment assessments.
• Coordinate execution across various functions, including sales, product, engineering, support, partners, and leadership.
• Provide updates that are decision-oriented and include risk/issue briefings for internal leadership.
• Lead virtual teams and promote enhancements to repeatable processes and standards.
• Regularly update sales, product, and leadership teams regarding assigned accounts.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer stability initiatives, escalation management, proactive communication, and supportability insights.
• Current United States Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in Sales Engineering and/or Consulting within high-tech, indirect sales, and procurement settings.
• Proven track record of successfully driving customer adoption of technology.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Ability to operate within and navigate through complex, matrixed organizations.
• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale, mission-critical enterprise architectures utilizing Citrix technologies.
• Familiarity with multi-domain, multi-enclave, and hybrid environments that have rigorous security and availability demands.
• Knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) / DaaS architecture, performance, capacity planning, and high availability.
• Experience with NetScaler / ADC design, encompassing traffic management, SSL/TLS, MFA integrations, API gateways, and secure access patterns.
• Understanding of identity, access, and device posture concepts relevant to ICAM and Zero Trust frameworks.
• Alignment with enterprise security and compliance standards, including NIST 800-53, RMF/ATO, encryption, logging, and audit preparedness.
• Fundamentals of networking and connectivity for hybrid and multi-enclave architectures.
• Knowledge of application delivery and lifecycle integration, including packaging, entitlement models, profile management, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in observability and operational excellence, including SLOs, incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Strong grasp of business processes and their integration into enterprise applications.
• Excellent analytical, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Capability to work independently and lead through influence.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications such as Citrix certifications, Microsoft Azure certifications, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, and updated security certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
