This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Engage in business activities with utmost integrity and adherence to compliance standards.
• Guide sales opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle, from opportunity identification to proposal submission and closure of deals.
• Collaborate with order management, production planning, and service teams to manufacture, deliver, and support products.
• Manage customer relationships for designated accounts.
• Navigate customer inquiries through their organizational hierarchy, gaining insights into business drivers, decision-making processes, and key decision-makers.
• Anticipate and project product demand and revenue for refining, petrochemical, catalyst, and adsorbent accounts for the next 18 months.
• Anticipate and project project opportunities and revenue for technology sales, engineering services, and gas processing accounts for the next 18 months.
• Achieve the resulting annual performance targets.
• Oversee customer engagement by disseminating information and maintaining account plans across UOP.
• Provide market and competitor insights to Honeywell's business and technology divisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address customer issues, including legal agreements.
• Uphold internal work and sales processes, including SFDC.
• Travel domestically 25–50% each year.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Hydroprocessing, Isomerization, Reforming, and/or Aromatics technologies in the refining and/or petrochemical sector.
• At least 1 year of experience selling in a competitive environment and achieving premium prices through effective communication of customer value with UOP products and services.
• A minimum of 3 years of knowledge regarding catalysts and adsorbents applications in refinery and petrochemical processes, along with an understanding of the refining industry in the Americas.
• Familiarity with UOP-licensed refining and petrochemical catalytic process technologies, such as Platforming, Butamer, Penex, Hydroprocessing, Oleflex, Parex, or similar.
• General knowledge of catalysts, adsorbents, and process technologies in the refining, petrochemical, gas, and midstream sectors in the Americas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com (SFDC).
• Capability to collaborate effectively with sales colleagues and support functions.
• Strong customer and business acumen.
• Exceptional written, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• The candidate must be a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or an individual with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
• Willingness to travel domestically 25–50% annually.
