Pricing Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate drawings and CAD models in English

• Compute manufacturing expenses for materials, machining time, and post-processing

• Suggest suitable manufacturing techniques

• Record and relay calculations to the Sales/Commercial team

• Assess 3D models and 2D drawings for quoting and manufacturability insights

• Coordinate RFQs and clarify specifications with Sales and Engineering teams

• Manage quote databases and ensure they are updated promptly

• Provide precise quotes ideally within 1–2 working hours

• Assist in process automation projects and optimize workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher technical education in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field

• Over 6 years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering

• In-depth knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques, including turning, milling, CNC machining, EDM, laser/waterjet/plasma cutting, sheet metal processing, and welding

• Familiarity with post-processing techniques, such as polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, sand/shot blasting, coatings, and painting

• Understanding of metals, plastics, composites, and their processing characteristics

• Proficient in English (B2+ level)

• Customer-centric approach with the ability to articulate technical details clearly

• Strong attention to detail and capacity to operate under time constraints

• Willingness to adapt to CAD/CAM, CRM, and cloud technologies

• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings (5/5)

• Experience in tooling and fixture design for machining, assembly, and welding (3/5)

• Expertise in manufacturing processes such as laser/waterjet cutting, turning, milling, grinding, EDM, and sheet metal fabrication (5/5)

• Knowledge of coatings and heat treatment (3/5)

• Ability to assess labor intensity and manufacturability (5/5)

• Experience in CAM programming for CNC using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and CypCut (3/5), with openness to further training

• Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable workspace are required
