Pricing Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Examine drawings and CAD models in English.

• Estimate manufacturing expenses for materials, machining hours, and post-processing activities.

• Suggest suitable manufacturing processes.

• Record and relay calculations to the Sales/Commercial team.

• Evaluate 3D models and 2D drawings for quotation and manufacturability insights.

• Coordinate RFQs and clarify specifics with Sales and Engineering teams.

• Manage quote databases and ensure timely updates.

• Provide precise quotes ideally within 1–2 working hours.

• Assist in process automation projects and workflow enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced technical education (Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, or comparable).

• Over 6 years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques, including turning, milling, CNC machining, EDM, laser/waterjet/plasma cutting, sheet metal processing, and welding.

• Familiarity with post-processing methods, such as polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, sand/shot blasting, coatings, and painting.

• Understanding of metals, plastics, composites, and their processing characteristics.

• Proficient in English at B2+ level.

• Customer-centric approach with the ability to clearly articulate technical information.

• Strong attention to detail and capability to perform under time constraints.

• Willingness to embrace CAD/CAM, CRM, and cloud systems.

• Proficient in technical drawing interpretation (5/5).

• Experience in tooling and fixture design for machining, assembly, and welding (3/5).

• Expertise in manufacturing processes such as laser/waterjet cutting, turning, milling, grinding, EDM, and sheet metal fabrication (5/5).

• Knowledge of coatings and heat treatment (3/5).

• Ability to assess labor intensity and manufacturability (5/5).

• Experience in CAM programming for CNC using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and CypCut (3/5), with a willingness to undergo further training.

• Required: stable high-speed internet and a comfortable workspace.
