Pricing Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Review and analyze drawings and CAD models in English.

• Calculate manufacturing expenses, encompassing materials, machining hours, and post-processing.

• Suggest manufacturing techniques and processes.

• Document calculations and transfer them to the Sales/Commercial team.

• Evaluate 3D models and 2D drawings to provide quoting and manufacturability insights.

• Coordinate RFQs and clarify specifics with Sales and Engineering teams.

• Maintain quote databases and ensure they are updated promptly.

• Provide precise quotes ideally within 1–2 working hours.

• Assist in process automation projects and enhance workflow efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of higher technical education (Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, or a related field).

• Over 6 years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques: turning, milling, CNC machining, EDM, laser/waterjet/plasma cutting, sheet metal processing, and welding.

• Familiarity with post-processing techniques: polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, sand/shot blasting, coatings, and painting.

• Understanding of metals, plastics, composites, and their processing characteristics.

• Proficient in English at a B2+ level.

• Customer-focused approach with the ability to clearly articulate technical information.

• Strong attention to detail and capacity to work effectively under time constraints.

• Experience with CAD/CAM, CRM, and cloud-based systems.

• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings at a level of 5/5.

• Competent in tooling and fixture design for machining, assembly, and welding at a level of 3/5.

• Expertise in manufacturing processes at a level of 5/5.

• Proficient in coatings and heat treatment at a level of 3/5.

• Skilled in labor intensity and manufacturability assessments at a level of 5/5.

• Experience with CAM programming for CNC utilizing SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and CypCut at a level of 3/5, with a willingness to undergo further training.

• A stable high-speed internet connection and a comfortable workspace are necessary.
