Pricing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate RFP requirements and oversee pricing activities throughout the RFP lifecycle.

• Foster relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment with evolving client solutions.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to comprehend product and service cost elements.

• Gather, manage, and verify internal and subcontractor inputs for the final pricing model.

• Develop and drive delivery timelines, securing formal approvals prior to proposal submission.

• Complete proposal documentation, maintain internal records, and manage opportunity-specific financial data in Salesforce.

• Assess historical benchmarks, industry standards, sales trends, competitor insights, market conditions, and client feedback to define competitive pricing strategies.

• Present pricing models and financial analyses to leadership for final endorsement.

• Integrate acquired knowledge into pricing models to enhance margins and win rates, aligning pricing strategies with business objectives and revenue goals.

• Apply best practices and foster continuous process enhancements.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, energy, engineering, or a related field of study.

• 1-3 years of experience in business consulting, finance, engineering, or a comparable field.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools (Salesforce), and BI/BA platforms and tools.

• Financial and analytical proficiency with experience in utilizing and maintaining pricing tools and templates.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Dynamic presentation skills.

• A collaborative, curious, proactive approach, and engagement with the leadership team.

• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference verification.

• If applicable to the role, a pre-employment drug screening may be required.

• Preferred: experience in operations analysis or business consulting.

• Preferred: experience in developing pricing templates or tools, along with model and scenario building.

• Preferred: experience in financial analysis or corporate finance.

• Preferred: experience presenting to senior team members.

• Preferred: experience in client-facing roles.
