Pricing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive cost proposals that encompass pricing models and narratives, taking into account labor, materials, overhead, and both direct and indirect costs.

• Perform in-depth evaluations of intricate pricing models, focusing on formula integrity, value traceability, and compliance with rates.

• Analyze Cost/Price narratives and Bases of Estimates (BOEs) to ensure logical, data-informed, and auditable justifications for suggested costs.

• Support the creation, upkeep, and enforcement of corporate policies.

• Collaborate with Pricing management on training, reviewing cost proposals, and adhering to policy compliance efforts.

• Act as the subject matter expert during internal assessments and offer actionable corrective feedback.

• Assist in the preparation of documentation and the defense of pricing methodologies during DCAA or DCMA audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• At least 5-7 years of experience in government contract pricing, cost estimating, or defense auditing.

• Profound and demonstrable knowledge of FAR Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation) and FAR Part 31 (Contract Cost Principles and Procedures), along with CAS and TINA requirements.

• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and model auditing) and Microsoft Word.

• Familiarity with pricing software, such as ProPricer, is strongly preferred.

• Capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot anomalies in large data sets under strict deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex regulatory or financial concepts to non-financial proposal team members.
