This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Gather cost, schedule, and technical components for intricate proposals in line with FAR and RFP specifications.
• Comprehend cost burdening and fee application to formulate proposal cost/price.
• Develop complex financial summaries and conduct thorough analyses for senior management's decision-making.
• Collaborate with contracts and lead customer inquiries, negotiations, and DCAA/DCMA audits.
• Work closely with leadership, engineering, procurement, contracts, business development, program management, and operations teams.
• Evaluate financial implications of pricing strategies and ensure the accuracy and integrity of cost and pricing information.
• Direct proposal teams in identifying, evaluating, and quantifying risks and opportunities.
• Engage in internal and external audits with minimal supervision.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures as well as FAR/DFARS standards.
• Travel within the U.S. is less than 10%.
• Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Capability to obtain and retain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required from day one.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with U.S. Government Contracting Regulations.
• Ability to develop very complex proposals.
• Competence in performing detailed analyses and effectively communicating risks and opportunities.
• Willingness to travel domestically less than 10%.
• Preferred: experience in resolving complex issues and translating complicated data into actionable insights.
• Preferred: experience with SAP, BMW, PARS, and ProPricer.
• Preferred: functional understanding of FAR, DFARS, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
