This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Oversee print procurement and sourcing activities for qualified RFP opportunities.
• Solicit vendor quotes, assess suppliers, create pricing workbooks, and formulate customer-facing pricing recommendations.
• Interpret specifications related to print, promotional items, labels, kitting, distribution, and other production aspects.
• Evaluate customer needs, historical pricing, supplier quotes, and market data to determine competitiveness and suggest adjustments or sourcing alternatives.
• Collaborate with sourcing, sales, category management, finance, operations, distribution, and subject matter experts.
• Participate in RFP kickoff, sourcing, costing, and pricing review meetings.
• Assess total landed costs, encompassing production, materials, freight, warehousing, fulfillment, and finance charges.
• Utilize margin guidance to create costing and pricing workbooks while documenting assumptions, supplier rationale, and pricing risks.
• Maintain pricing files, vendor quote documentation, sourcing assumptions, and profitability analysis materials.
• Assist in ISO quality reviews and audits by preserving traceable sourcing and pricing documentation.
• Execute additional duties as required.
• Minimum of 5 years in print buying, procurement, sourcing, estimating, costing, pricing analysis, or print management services.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in using spreadsheets and reporting tools to analyze supplier quotes, historical expenditures, market benchmarks, pricing scenarios, and profitability.
• Strong knowledge of print, promotional items, labels, packaging, and related production processes, including materials, equipment capabilities, production rates, and supplier cost factors.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Capability to create and maintain detailed pricing workbooks and clearly communicate findings.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Familiarity with Salesforce reports, dashboards, opportunity data, pricing fields, or related analytics is preferred.
• Experience in comparing vendor capabilities, negotiating or challenging supplier pricing, and documenting supplier selection rationale is preferred.
• Ability to communicate intricate sourcing and pricing recommendations clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Capacity to manage multiple RFP timelines, vendor inputs, pricing assumptions, and stakeholder requests while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong critical-thinking, decision-making, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
