Press Instructor – Print Applications, Productivity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver training and guidance to customers on Manroland sheetfed press machinery and associated technologies.

• Facilitate successful commissioning and operator training during press installations.

• Educate customers on print color management and enhance makeready processes.

• Conduct efficient troubleshooting during print application service requests.

• Engage with customers at all organizational levels with professionalism regarding press operation, performance, and productivity enhancements.

• Keep abreast of print application training, industry developments, and the newest software advancements.

• Advocate for training, consulting, software, and performance improvement services to clientele.

• Offer assistance related to consumables and optimal practices for superior press performance.

• Support onsite productivity assessments and process enhancement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel between 67% to 100% of the time.

• Must reside in the Central United States, ideally within a one-hour drive of a major airport.

• Preferred locations include Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in operating and/or training on Manroland sheetfed presses.

• Strong computer proficiency, including knowledge of Windows, macOS, and networking.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Capability to address complex technical and operational challenges.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the capacity to train diverse audiences.

• Ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects and tasks concurrently.

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• Competence in using and calibrating job-related testing and measuring instruments.

• Ability to adhere to detailed service manuals, operational procedures, and training documentation.

• Familiarity with basic hand tools.
