This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
β’ Act as a reliable technical consultant for HPE Networking Account Managers, Channel Partners, and clients throughout the sales process.
β’ Collaborate with account managers to formulate account strategies, qualify opportunities, and achieve technical victories within the designated territory.
β’ Facilitate discovery sessions to identify customer business motivations, technical needs, and modernization objectives.
β’ Perform technical assessments, pinpoint gaps and risks, and outline solution methodologies.
β’ Design and create comprehensive HPE Networking solutions across campus, branch, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, and security sectors.
β’ Propose solutions that align with customer business goals and modernization initiatives.
β’ Provide tailored technical presentations, product demonstrations, and virtual interactions.
β’ Assist with proposals, RFP/RFI responses, bills of materials, and solution documentation.
β’ Work in partnership with senior engineers, architects, and specialists on intricate or multi-domain opportunities.
β’ Keep up-to-date with HPE Networking portfolios, including Juniper/Aruba wired, wireless, routing, data center, and SASE.
β’ Remain informed on AI-Ops, Zero Trust, NaaS, AI-driven networking, and campus fabric developments.
β’ Evaluate competitive technologies and articulate HPE's unique advantages.
β’ Enhance technical and industry knowledge through certifications and ongoing professional development.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or a customer-facing technical position.
β’ Solid understanding of networking technologies, including campus, wireless, routing, and WAN.
β’ Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust architectures.
β’ Consultative approach to addressing customer challenges.
β’ Experience in leading discovery discussions.
β’ Capability to translate intricate technical concepts into business-relevant value.
β’ Experience in guiding solution evaluation and decision processes.
β’ Practical experience with solution design and architecture.
β’ Ability to align solutions with customer environments.
β’ Proficiency in collaborating with account managers, architects, and specialists.
β’ Capacity to manage multiple opportunities in a dynamic, high-volume inside sales setting.
β’ Excellent presentation, storytelling, interpersonal, and communication skills.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
β’ Preferred industry certifications include Aruba ACA/ACP, Juniper JNCIA, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet FCA/FCP, or CWNA.
